A Unique Approach to Music Lessons

Bob Hamilton has been teaching lessons for 14 years. Bob has a unique gift to connect with anyone and share the joy of making and learning about music. His teaching philosophy, much like his playing background, encompasses many genres, approaches, instruments, and techniques to not only become a good player, but also a creative and thoughtful musician. Bob previously ran a successful guitar studio in Portland, Maine and taught many wonderful people, including children, teens, adult professionals, and retirees.

Since moving to the Netherlands, Bob is looking to make connections with anyone who is interested in lessons in guitar, banjo, repertoire and techniques, songwriting and improvising, or just a simple and engaging introduction to music.

Guitar Lessons

For More Advanced Players-

• Bob  formally studied Jazz, Classical, Commercial Music, Theory, and Composition. He  also specializes in Jazz, American Folk, Country and Bluegrass Styles, Bob has  played in club gigs concerts and jam sessions with thousands of players.

• Advanced Lessons are open to any or all styles, with the focus on playing music with others. What separates the novices from the more advanced players is actively contributing to the music and music scene. Becoming a better musician often means becoming a better listener.
